Fitness tip of the week!
You’ve heard me say it before, but it needs to be said again: Eat your veggies! You should all know the benefits of getting enough vegetables in your diet (like fiber, which can help with your hunger levels) but what if you don’t like veggies? Here are a few ways to “sneak” them into your diet. #1- (probably my favorite) cook them in your eggs! Add some broccoli, spinach, carrots, onions, or whatever into your morning omelet. Add some tasty hot sauce, and BOOM, one serving of veggies down. #2-Blend ‘em in a smoothie. Not all veggies will ‘work’ in a smoothie, but spinach and kale mix well with most fruit smoothies. It might look a little…weird, but it’ll still taste great. #3-Add them to a sandwich! Load that sub up with spinach, peppers and tomatoes. It’ll make the sandwich look huge too, so that’s cool.
